We toured two lighthouses by Newport. This is the Yaquina Bay lighthouse. It is the only wooden lighthouse left in Oregon. 
This is the Yaquina Head light house it is the tallest lighthouse on the Oregon coast standing 93 feet tall.
These are the lights inside the lighthouse. The lights used to be powered by lard oil but was converted to electric power. The globe is 1000 watts and 130,000 candle power.
