Credit Cards

Since when did we become so dependent on plastic? We were running kind of late tonight and decided to stop at McDonald's for supper so Nolan could play for awhile. We ordered all of our food and when we went to pay, they told us their Credit Card machine was not working. It was a little bit embarrassing because we only had $3 in cash. So left with a screaming kid and went to a place that honored plastic... Subway!

This happened to me once, but somehow I walked out of there with a free meal...still surprised about that.

That's McD's for you. At Taco Time we would make up the difference provided it isn't too outlandish an amount. We want you business and also want you to come back. We would have given the kid a toy or coloring sheet also. Come see us!

Glad to hear we're not the only ones that this would happen to.

$3, wow. We would have had maybe less than a dollar in change - after digging it out from the bottom of my purse. Plastic all the way!!!

I know Taco Time isn't back there. The one you did have closed some years ago. It seems to be a northwest thing but you will be coming this way this summer!! Just thought I would put in my 2 cents worth. Moving there and opening one?? Groan - I am too old for that. Auntie Karen

Actual paper dollars?? Do they even make those any more?
