We just got back from Louisiana where we went to convention and stayed at Nate and Tonya's house. Mom, Melanie, and Dave and Joanna were there also. We stopped at the Mall of America the night before we headed out. We had to eat at Bubba Gump's Shrimp Company while we were at the mall. The only bad thing about it was they quit serving Mahi Mahi and now serve Tilapia instead (thumbs down). 
When we got to Louisiana, the real Bubba fried us up some shrimp of his own which was really good. We had some more good food while at convention including smoked brisket, gumbo, and jambalaya.
The kids really enjoyed playing around this pond also. By the way, this is the only picture of the kids that I got that actually had them all looking in the general direction of the camera.
Here is one with my family that was at convention. It was just as difficult getting the (so-called) adults to look at the camera.
Kaylynn and Lane loved catching lizards and throwing them in the pond. Sometimes you could actually see the fish come up and take them. Kaylynn and Lane were not one bit afraid of the lizards.
David on the other hand was. You may not be able to tell here, but he is rather apprehensive as he is trying to figure out how to get the lizard off his shoulder without actually having to touch it.

The kids had tons of candy down there. I think Gus has a mouth full of skittles in this picture.
And lastly, Melanie was giving out free massages. Nolan really enjoyed his. She is a massage therapist and still single;)
